Sapura Energy Berhad wishes to announce that on 6th June 2023 the High Court of Malaya granted Sapura Energy and 22 of its wholly owned subsidiaries an extension period of nine months for the Convening and Restraining Orders granted in their favour, from 11 June 2023 to 10 March 2024. The Orders, which had initially been granted by the Court on 8 March 2023 pursuant to Sections 366 and 368 of the Companies Act, were set to expire on 11 June 2023.
